Transition timer.
by claude_troncy 1 Month ago
Hi , bonsoir
Again....
I am now using multiple galleries with the xml fetch method and I have a small problem...
The timer transition for the first image is not consistant, sometimes it's OK sometimes it's very quick

I try to explain......, when I close the slideshow to view another gallery, if I decide to choose the same one, it doesn't start from the beginning, it is thrue everytime time... if I choose another gallery sometimes it start at the beginning with a transition timer very quick , sometimes it's long to load and the slide show start in the middle.

It looks like if something is not initialized when we start a new slide show in the multiple gallery environnement....

Am I clear ?

Best regard
Claude

Hello,

Did you find a moment to have a look at my issue ?
Reading the forum I noticed that a new version is coming, but I am effrayed that the xml system will be no longer available. Am I wrong ?
Your product is the only one which offer the possibility to automate everything with the xml and images upload... I hope the same kind of functionnality will still be available in the future version.

Concerning the future version will it be possible for the final user to modify the transition time ?

best regards
Claude
PS: Finally my review was accepted at the JED.

Hey Claude

Thank you for your kind words on JED

The new version of Power Slide (2.0) is a massive enhancement of the current Power Slide Pro version 1.3.1. We are doing away with the xml method as there are too many possible combinations in the new version already and including other methods would be a total nightmare! Power Slide Pro 1.3.1 will still exist and still be fully supported, however it will not include the new functionality version 2.0 will contain.

We are still looking at your issue above and will first test it in the new version before it will go into a stable environment (which will be Power Slide Pro 1.3.2)

Will send you a download link as soon as its available

Bonjour,

I understand it is difficult now to integrate the xml method in your new version.
Just a question.
Will it be possible in V2 to do the same thing, that means:
Prepare everything localy (the images, the descriptions, the titles) and upload them to the joomla server without connecting to the silde pro administration, using another method than xml of course.

Best regards
Claude

There will only be a Power Slide Pro Administration method. Version 2 will have a Multi Upload Tool where you upload images to a temp folder and then you can enter the title and description for each image and then create them inside the Power Slide Pro Administration automatically. Difficult to explain here but will be a lot better than the previous method we've used. For version 2.1 we will be releasing more features, one being Import via XML where you can use the existing xml file to import into the Power Slide Pro Administration.
