Using the MooTools 1.1, the Power Slide gallery and slideshow system allows you to have clean, simple and smooth transitional image galleries and slideshows in a optimised lightweight javascript module area. Multiple galleries are show in a tabular list (with thumbnails and description), which when opened will show a transitional slide show of the gallery images.
This transitional slideshow has many features - including an image thumbnail selector carousel, image titles and descriptions (floating in a transparent DIV above the image), image navigation, a built in light box, plus many more features which you can read about here.
Power Slide comes in two different release versions - a free version (creative commons licensed version - which has limited functionality) and a commercial version (Power Slide Pro which has full functionality and features as shown on this demo). Both versions have fully commented code, are SEO optimised, and are built up to web 2.0 standards (valid CSS and valid XHTML).
